Who can apply :   Unmarried female candidates (for regular B.Sc (Hons) Nursing at IPU

Eligibility criteria‑ Must have passed 10+2 (Class XII) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) subjects.
‑ Minimum aggregate ~50% in PCB; passing separately in each subject.
‑ Must also have passed English.

Admission test / selection: Admission is through a CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by IPU. Also, in recent years, NEET (UG) is given priority / considered in admissions for B.Sc Nursing (Hons). 

• Full form: General Nursing & Midwifery.
• Type: Diploma course. Recognized by DELHI NURSING COUNCIL.
• Purpose: Trains students to become nurses who can provide nursing care in hospitals, clinics, maternity & community health settings, assist midwifery, etc.
• Eligibility: Educational Qualification Passing 10+2 (Class XII) from a recognized board. English subject compulsory.  
• Minimum Marks Usually around 40% in qualifying exam. For SC/ST or reserved categories relaxations apply. 
• Age Minimum age commonly 17 years by 31st December of year of admission. Upper age limit 35.  

• Full form: Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery. 
• It is a basic diploma‑level nursing course. Recognized by DELHI NURSING COUNCIL.
• It trains students to be the first level of nursing / health workers, especially in rural / community health settings, maternal & child health, first aid, etc.
• Eligibility: Educational Qualification Passing 10+2 (Class XII) from a recognized board. English subject compulsory.  
• Minimum Marks Usually around 40% in qualifying exam. For SC/ST or reserved categories relaxations apply. 
• Age Minimum age commonly 17 years by 31st December of year of admission. Upper age limit 35.
